Winter sports fans, ski enthusiasts, snowboard fans, ski tourers and freeriders will find what they are looking for in the Weissee Glacier World. Here you will find well-groomed slopes of varying degrees of difficulty as well as extensive, unspoilt deep snow slopes that will delight winter enthusiasts.
Surrounded by the impressive beauty of the Hohe Tauern National Park, the family-friendly high-altitude ski area offers the perfect backdrop to enjoy winter to the full. Sun lovers can admire the magical winter landscape and relax on the sun terrace of the Berghotel Rudolfshuette or at the Gruensee middle station.
The winter season starts on 23 December 2023 and ends on 21 April 2024.

In winter, the Weissee Glacier World is Salzburg's third-highest ski area (1,400 m - 2,600 m) and offers well-groomed pistes of all levels of difficulty, deep snow slopes and off-piste runs as well as an impressive mountain panorama.

From 2 March 2024, early ski tours will be offered again in good weather. This service is always available on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. The first gondola ride starts at 08.00 am.
