Ski touring paradise in the Hohe Tauern!
Ski touring is becoming increasingly popular to mountain-sportmen and women alike. The peaceful silence found from being on the mountain, the rise in alpine terrain, the breathtaking views from the top, and finally the descent through soft deep untouched snow fascinates. Tour skiing is a special experience - it is skiing bliss!
In the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park in the Weissee Glacier World we offer countless magnificent ski touring opportunities.
The starting point in the Uttendorf/Weißsee skitouring paradise is the Stubachvalley/Enzingerboden (1. 480 m) base station of the Weissee Glacier lifts. Here the ski touring area of the Granatspitz-group - opens by being surrounded by a magnificent Alpine Panorama with 22 distinctive peaks, 12 of which are over 3,000 meters. Those who are still uncertain of the alpine terrain and prefer a tour with a mountain guide, can book guided tours in the tourist office Uttendorf/Weissee. The Moonlight ski tours and snowshoe hikes offer a very special and unique experince that can not be had just anywhere.
