BOULDER PARK
What is bouldering?
Bouldering is a special form of climbing - without a rope or harness. You climb at jumping height and any falls are cushioned by mats and spotting (a climbing partner stands ready to catch the falling climber's upper body and head).
This sport requires maximum strength, dynamism, balance and technique. The basic equipment consists of climbing shoes, magnesium and a bouldering mat.
There are, of course, different levels of difficulty, but the fun is in seeing what you can do to conquer the boulder.
The illuminated boulder park blends in perfectly with the idyllic landscape and the beautiful boulders offer everyone a varied "climb".
The course consists of 10 granite boulders. There are no limits to your imagination when it comes to creating new lines.
The nearby restaurants provide refreshments and if you need to cool off, you can jump into the lake.
Facts:
- Access time: 1 minute
- The Boulderpark Uttendorf is open to the public and offers a wide range of boulder problems.
- You have to bring your own equipment.
- Bouldering variations that can only be found in nature.
