Trip to the Arctic

From July 9 to September 10, 2013

Enjoy the outstanding beauty of a high alpine setting!
This trip is ideal for those who want to experience the uniqueness of a terrific mountain landscape in a convenient way. The Weißsee gondola will take you up to 2,330m above sea level, where the vegetation and climatic conditions are quite comparable to those in the Arctic. An easy hike between the Glockner peak and the Granatspitz mountain range conclude this interesting trip.

  • Price: incl. uphill and downhill ride with the Weißsee mountain railway Adults EUR 28,00 per person/Children to the age of 16 EUR 16,00 per person

Kalser Tauern Hike

(middle of July to September)

Kalser Tauern tour - cross the Alps from Salzburg to East Tirol
A tour to challenge your surefootedness!
A bus will take you from Uttendorf (Salzburger Nationalparkhotel stop) through the Stubachtal valley to the Enzingerboden pasture (1,480m). Take the Weißsee glacier lift to the mountainhotel Rudolfshütte and continue by chair lift Medelz to the Kalser Tauern 2,518m elevation.
Walk from the Kalser Törl through the Dorfertal valley until you reach the Kalser Tauernwirt inn at 1,480m. There a bus will pick you up and take you back to Uttendorf. Walking-time: approx. 5 - 6 hours.

A tour of the developing "Celitc Village" on the Stoanabichl in Uttendorf will bring you back to the origins of our culture.

Get insights into the world of the Celts, their rituals, traditions and mythology.
